Michael Gobits

Michael initially provided software development support to the organisation prior to joining full-time in 2001. In the decade following, he led the team that developed the online learner and faculty support system and held other key relationship management roles. In 2007, Michael was appointed COO and in 2010 he was appointed an Executive Director and Company Secretary of the Australian Graduate School of Leadership.

Prior to becoming involved with IMIA, Michael acquired significant experience in business management, marketing and data analysis and network administration.  He has previously worked for several large merchant banks and utility and market research organisations in roles such as: Assistant Management Accountant; Business, Marketing, Systems and Data Analyst; and Website, Intranet and Database Designer. This experience has been extensively utilised in his roles within the organisation.
