Geoffrey McLean

Geoff is a marketing professional and academic.  He worked in the financial services sector in a variety of business development, marketing and general management roles for 30 years. After working part-time as a university lecturer for five years he joined the higher education sector on a full-time basis in 2000 and remained there for 15 years. Geoff retired from teaching in 2015 but is continuing with research, writing and completing his doctorate.  His research interests include business ethics, corporate social responsibility and social marketing.  His current projects include a chapter for a book called Quakers, Industry and Technology; other projects include the use of consumer power to combat worker exploitation and social marketing as a tool to reduce levels of vandalism and graffiti.
