Heinz Herrmann

Heinz is a CEO with over five years of board member experience and more than 25 years of executive P&L experience (up to $1.6 billion) across various commercial sectors: digital & broadcast media, manufacturing, construction, consumer electronics, distribution channels, IT, telecommunications, technology, service and tertiary education industries.

At board level, he is a non-executive director at Ensemble Offspring, which is Australia's pre-eminent contemporary music ensemble dedicated to the performance of innovative avant-garde music. Prior to that, he was a non-executive director at HR Workbench, an Australian start-up, cloud-based HR software company where he provided expert strategic and commercial advice.

In an executive capacity, Heinz is Managing Director APAC for Plancast, which is a telecommunications design & construction company. Previously, he was the CEO of Magna Systems & Engineering where he grew revenues that outperformed market growth by more than a factor of two. Prior to that he was the CEO for IceTV with major patent achievements in broadcast TV, including the development and launch of a video recorder that skips TV adverts.

Heinz has a Doctor of Business Administration, a Masters in Information Technology, a Board Director Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and he is an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at Torrens University Australia.

Among several publications, Heinz published a text book for Information & Communications Technology, of which the entire printed edition sold out within six months.
