Stephen Duns

Dr Stephen Duns has a passion for helping individuals, organisations and communities identify their potential, and then supporting them to achieve it. Stephen believes deeply that a strengths-based approach, storytelling and systems thinking are key factors in human emergence. Stephen is a trained coach and experienced mentor. Stephen’s career experience includes several Chief Executive Officer and general management roles in health and community services in Australia and the UK. He has also worked extensively as a consultant, primarily in the not-for-profit and government sectors. Stephen is an active volunteer, currently as President/Chair annecto and other recent roles include Director of Australian Graduate School of Leadership, Director/Chair of Merri Community Health Services, Chair of Austin Health’s Human Research Ethics Committee, Trustee of Save Sight Foundation, President and Chairman of the Board of Parkinson’s Victoria and Parkinson’s Australia and President of JOY 94.9 community radio station. Stephen has Doctorate in Business Leadership, Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy), Bachelor of Letters (Psychology) and Master of Business Administration degrees. Stephen is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Executives, a qualified SDi practitioner as well as an accredited Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy.
