Jessica Murphy
Dr Jess Murphy spent over 20 years in the corporate world, holding various senior leadership roles in the Financial Services industry. During that time, her passion for accelerating firm-wide organisational transformation propelled her to the forefront of the inclusion movement.
Jess’ lens of equity, culture and inclusive leadership is shaped by rigorous academic research and pragmatic real-life experience. It was this demand for evidence
based, outcomes-orientated leadership and equity interventions that drove her to establish Pathway To Your Potential Pty Ltd – an independent, highly regarded company, designing and delivering deeply experiential !learning experiences for executives, senior leaders and diverse talent. Global clients include KPMG, Accenture, Rabobank, Go1as well as top 20 ASX corporations and federal and state government departments in Australia. She has experience across multiple industries including financial services, professional services, construction, infrastructure and the built environment, mining, technology and retail.
A seat at the table with the now global Champions of Change movement and convening the Architecture Group since 2015 ensures the complexities of leadership and equity are front of mind. Cognitive diversity is important to Jess – the ability to understand and appreciate how we each uniquely gather information, make decisions and then communicate with one another is critical to enhancing self-awareness and effective leadership. Jess does her best to cut across the fabric of society, working with at-risk youth to global business leaders, always listening and learning. Jess currently holds an Adjunct Professorship at Australian Graduate Leadership School (AGSL) supervising Doctoral candidates for the past 7 years. She has a Doctorate in Business Leadership and is also a Life Fellow.
